The rain rustles first the drooping leaves in the trees, and then patters on the ground. It awakens the heat of the afternoon and depresses all sense of clinging regrets. It draws from the ground the dryness, that soon evaporates into the sky, replacing the lingering clouds that are too eager to release their power. The rain sweeps through the grass, combing it of impurities. Washing away the hedonism of yesterday to reveal the simplistic sensations of tomorrow.
